When our kids turn into teenagers a lot begins to happen to their bodies. Now they have a whole new set of medical concerns to focus on as they get one step closer to adulthood. It’s now more important than ever that your teenager finds a medical professional they can trust and establish rapport with. Our medical staff is here for your teen’s physical and emotional needs. We offer everything from consultations to diagnoses and management of health conditions. Puberty can be a confusing and overwhelming time for any teenager, so it’s our goal to make this stage of life a little easier.

Here are some of the adolescent issues we address:

Puberty concerns and sexual health

As both boys and girls begin to mature and develop they may also start having new concerns about their physical and sexual health. Our medical staff is here to address a variety of issues included body image problems, delayed puberty and birth control options.

Eating disorders

Eating disorders are common among the teen population. From anorexia and bulimia to binge eating we can help teens manage their eating disorders and help them create new, healthier habits.

Dietary counseling and obesity

Since the 1980s, teenage obesity rates have tripled. Our doctors are here to help overweight and obese adolescents manage their diet, reduce weight safely and effectively, and design a healthier lifestyle for the long term.

Acne

Adolescent Care Even though acne often seems like a rite of passage, dealing with this problem during the teen years can be particularly difficult. Fortunately, our medical experts are here to help pinpoint the cause of your acne and design a unique treatment plan that will help combat this issue.

We also provide immunizations, ADHD diagnosis and treatment, vision and hearing testing, and physical and sports examinations.
