Christine Martin , M.D.

Dr. Christine Martin brings a globally informed, deeply compassionate approach to pediatric care. As a Board-Certified Pediatrician with more than 20 years of experience, she is passionate about supporting children and families through every stage of growth and development.

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Dr. Martin began her academic journey at Stanford University, where she majored in Human Biology. During college, she studied abroad in Berlin in 1989 while the city was still divided into East and West, an experience that sparked her lifelong interest in global health and community care.

Her passion for service later led her to join the Peace Corps, where she spent two years in Ecuador as a Community Health Educator in a small town deep within the Amazon basin. This transformative experience strengthened her understanding of public health, deepened her connection to community-centered care, and helped her become fluent in Spanish.

After returning to the United States, Dr. Martin earned her Master of Public Health from University of California, Berkeley with a focus on Maternal and Child Health. She then completed medical school at the University of Vermont followed by her Pediatrics residency at University of California, San Francisco.

Throughout her career, Dr. Martin has cared for diverse patient populations and is especially passionate about building long-term partnerships with families while delivering culturally competent care.

Her clinical interests include allergies and asthma, developmental and behavioral pediatrics, ADHD, autism, and caring for children with complex medical needs.
